The Serola Sacroiliac Belt re-establishes the joint's normal motion by providing the correct balance of resistance and resilience.

Serola Biomechanics, Inc. is always striving to offer insight in to the human body and how it responds to injury. The result of our many years of research has produced the innovative Serola Sacroiliac Belt, the only sacroiliac belt to be endorsed by The American Physical Therapy Association – Section on Women’s Health (APTA-SOWH), which offers relief from low back hip pain and prevents further injury. This back support belt is also known as a Trochanter Brace, SI Belt, SIJ Belt or Pelvic Belt. Our brace is perfect for those who experience low back pain, side pain, sciatic hip pain, sciatica, SI joint pain, hip pain, chronic back pain or those who have pinched nerves.

Many use our back belt to help prevent and relieve SI joint pain, low back and hip pain caused by exercise or any motion involving lifting, bending and twisting. Many expectant mothers use the Serola sacroiliac belt to help support the pelvis and manage pelvic pain during their pregnancy. Many professional athletes, such as tennis players, golfers, and bowlers, also use the belt for back to help with sports-related injuries.

Because of the stability the New Serola Sacroiliac Belt gives to the base of your spine, strength is increased throughout your back, hips, and legs, and your chances of injury are lessened considerably during work or play:

  • Designed to compress and support the sacroiliac joints
  • 3" wide SI belt supports the sacroiliac joints relieving stress and instability
  • Breathable, moisture-wicking, and hypoallergenic

The Serola Belt is worn around the hips, not the waist.

  • Small (30" to 34" Hip Measurement)
  • Medium (34" to 40" Hip Measurement)
  • Large (40" to 46" Hip Measurement)
  • X-Large (46" to 52" Hip Measurement)

Suggested Use

The Serola Sacroiliac Belt can help with an array of issues involving pain and pain relief or injury prevention. The SI Belt should be your first step in conservative care before considering going further to potential damaging treatments such as surgery. Below are a few common injuries or types of pain and how the Serola Sacroiliac can help you.

Wear the Serola® Sacroiliac Belt just above the leg bones that protrude from the sides of your hips (trochanters). First close the belt tightly around your hips, then pull the two elastic bands around toward the front. To ensure the best fit, always put the belt on in this manner.

During painful episodes, the Serola® Sacroiliac Belt should be worn as much as possible during the day and night. If irritation or rash is encountered while wearing the belt, discontinue use and see a doctor.

For maximum safety, support, and to help avoid pain, the Serola® Sacroiliac Belt should be worn whenever you engage in activities involving bending, lifting or twisting. Because constriction of the abdomen may alter blood flow in susceptible people, it is advisable to check your blood pressure with use of this or any other belt. Hand wash in cold water.

    Very comfortable and effective

Very happy with this. Comfortable, I can wear it sleeping. It has relieved the pain and stress on my SI joint. What it difference it makes! The belt doesn't ride up, I can wear under or over clothes.
